A large U-Haul truck crashed into a limousine carrying 12 people, injuring all 12, at a rural intersection near Reedley, 25 miles from Fresno, late Tuesday, September 2nd. Two of the injured were airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.

According to authorities, the crash occurred when the driver of the U-Haul, traveling south on Englehart Avenue, lost control and went off road, striking the limousine on the driver’s side, near the back of the vehicle. The limo was heading east on Lincoln Avenue and was stopped at the intersection’s stop sign when it was struck.

The driver of the U-Haul truck fled the scene of the collision. The crash remains under investigation.
