Directly, and unfortunately, on the heels of the devastating church bus accident in Crestline a few weeks ago comes news of not one, but two additional bus accidents, each having catastrophic outcomes.

In New York, a bus carrying 32 passengers back from a Casino to Chinatown in New York City crashed, killing 15 people. The bus spilled over on the highway and slid into a steel sign, almost cutting the bus in half. This bus accident is under investigation, but what is known is that the person driving the bus is an ex-convict who may have lied when he told investigators that the bus was sideswiped by a semi-truck.

In New Jersey, a tour bus carrying at least 40 passengers from Chinatown to to Philadelphia crashed, killing two, including the bus driver. At least 41 other passengers required hospital treatment. This bus accident is also under investigation. The medical examiner’s office will be conducting an autopsy on the bus driver to see if he may have had a medical condition prior to the crash.

The Law Offices of Larry H. Parker sends its condolences to the victims and their families who were affected by these horrific accidents.
