Two men are dead after a small plane crashed upon landing at the Casa Grande Municipal Airport in southern Arizona on the morning of Wednesday, February 6th.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has stated that a twin-engine Beechcraft Air King exploded and caught fire after crashing north of a runway at the airport around 11:35 a.m. Wednesday morning. At least one witness reports seeing the plane attempt to land on the runway before it kicked up out of control and flipped over.

The small private plane is registered to a Tucson business. The two victims were the only persons aboard the aircraft. The cause of the crash is currently being investigated.
