Two people were killed in a car crash on the 118 Freeway early in the morning on Monday, April 1st. The victims, a driver and passenger, were in a vehicle that rear-ended a big rig truck. The victims’ vehicle became engulfed in flames after being struck by another car after the initial collision.

The fatal car crash occurred around 3:40 a.m. on the 118 Freeway near White Oak Avenue. The westbound 118 Freeway was closed for hours after the crash, with traffic being diverted onto the 405. California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
