Guidecraft recalls theater toys due to entrapment hazard

About 2,150 Guidecraft 4-in-1 Dramatic Play Theater Toys were recalled after two reports of the toy tipping over while in use. One child experienced minor injuries from this recalled product. The 4-in-1 Dramatic Play Theater Toys were manufactured in China. See the recall.

Dorel Juvenile Group issues recall for cabinet locks due to product failure

About 900,000 Safety 1st Push ‘N Snap Cabinet Locks were recalled after receiving 200 reports of damaged locks or locks that did not properly secure the cabinet. 140 reports of children accessing the cabinets were also reported, including three children who proceeded to handle or imbibe potentially dangerous cleaning chemicals. About 25,200 power foundations for adjustable bases for mattresses were recalled by Leggett & Platt after receiving 29 reports of the electrical components in the motor control board failing and overheating, posing a fire hazard.
