Pacific Cycle recalls swing sets due to falling hazard

About 5,500 Playsafe Dartmouth Swing Sets were recalled after five reports of seats breaking during use. Only minor injuries have been reported. The Pacific Cycle Playsafe Dartmouth Swing Sets were manufactured in China. See the recall.

Petzl America recalls belay devices due to falling hazard

About 20,000 Petzl America GRIGRI 2 belay devices with assisted braking were recalled after seven reports of the handle becoming stuck in the open position, causing the assisted braking function to not work properly, posing a falling hazard. The GRIGRI 2 belays were made in France. See the recall.

Nine Companies recall pourable gel fuel due to burn and fire hazards

Over 2 million units of different pourable gel fuel were recalled by nine manufactures after dozens of reports of the fuel splattering and catching fire when added to a firepot that is still burning. Two deaths and 34 burn injuries requiring hospitalization have been reported. Consumers who have purchased pourable gel fuel bottles should not attempt to repair the bottles and should immediately stop using this product. See the recall.

Manhattan Group recalls wooden rattle due to choking hazard

About 3,445 Twirlla Wooden Rattles were recalled after discovery that the rattle’s parts can break off, posing a choking risk. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The Twirlla Wooden Rattles were made in Thailand. See the recall.

About 10,000 Camsing Global LED night lights were recalled after five reports of overheating, smoldering, or melting of the night light. The recalled LED night lights were made in China. See the recall.

KTM North America recalls motorcycles due to falling and crashing hazards

About 6,117 off-road motorcycles were recalled after a report of a consumer requiring hospitalization after the handlebar clamp developed cracks during normal use, resulting in the rider losing control of the bike. The KTM off-road motorcycles were manufactured in Austria. See the recall.

Target recalls exercise resistance cords due to injury hazard

About 447,000 Embark Resistance Cords and Cord Kits were recalled after three reports of the black plastic door anchor ball unexpectedly releasing and striking the users in the eye. In two of the incidents, permanent vision loss was reported. The Embark Resistance Cords were made in China. See the recall.

Pottery Barn recalls dolls due to strangulation hazard

ABout 82,300 Chloe, Sophie, and Audrey soft dolls were recalled by Pottery Barn after five reports of dolls having loooped hair, including one incident where the hair was found wrapped around the neck of a toddler. No injuries were reported. The recalled dolls were manufactured in China. See the recall.
