About 21,000 Banzai Falls In-Ground Pool Slides were recalled after reports of severe injuries, including one death. When the slide deflates, slide users can hit the ground beneath the slide. A 29 year-old woman died after fracturing her neck hitting the ground. A 24 year-old man became a quadriplegic and another woman fractured her neck while using the slide. About 330,000 play yard tents from Tots in Mind were recalled in July of 2010 offering a repair kit, but has since gone out of business. 27 reports of tent failures were reported, including one fatality and one catastrophic brain injury after the tents inverted, trapping the infants. About 183,000 toilet locks and 685,000 cabinet locks were recalled after Dorel Juvenile Group received 110 reports of the toilet locks not securing toilet lids properly and 278 reports of cabinet locks not securing properly.
