Innovage issues recall for lamps due to fire and burn hazards
About 300,000 Discovery Kids Animated Marine and Safari Lamps were recalled after Innovage received 11 reports of the internal wires near the circuit board shorting, causing sparks. Three of these reports detailed the lamps catching fire, causing property damage. The recalled lamps were manufactured in China. See the recall.
Bath Petals issues recall for soy candles due to fire and laceration hazard
About 2,800 soy candles were recalled after a report of a candle burning with too high of a flame, shattering its glass holder. The recalled soy candles were made in the United States. See the recall.
iSi North America recalls carbonation system due to explosion hazard
About 162,700 Twist’n Sparkle Home Beverage Carbonation System plastic bottles were recalled after nine reports of the plastic bottles exploding under pressure. Three reports of injuries involving cuts from exploded bottles were reported. The carbonation systems were made in Austria and Hungary. See the recall.
Robert Bosch Tool Corporation recalls miter saws due to laceration hazard
About 22,149 miter saws were recalled after discovery that the lower guard can break and hit the blade during use, posing a laceration risk. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The recalled miter saws were made in China. See the recall.
Nikon issues recall for batter packs due to burn hazard
About 200,000 Nikon digital SLR camera battery packs were recalled after seven reports worldwide of the battery packs overheating from a short circuit. The recalled Nikon battery packs were manufactured in Japan and China. See the recall.
The Troxel Company recalls swing sets due to fall hazard
About 110,000 Flexible Flyer Swing Sets were recalled after The Troxel Company received 1,232 reports of the see saw seats breaking away from the bolt fasteners. Thirteen injuries including cuts and bruises were reported. The recalled swing sets were made in the United States. See the recall.
Artsana issues recall for high chairs due to laceration hazard
About 485,000 Chicco Polly High Chairs were recalled by Artsana after receiving 21 reports of children falling on or against the pegs on the rear legs of the high chair, suffering cuts and/or bruises. There were also Four reports of more serious cuts requiring stitches and one scratched cornea. The recalled high chairs were made in China. See the recall.
Family Dollar Services issues recall for light sets due to fire and shock hazard
About 280,000 200 Mini Lights products were recalled after discovery that the light sets do not meet the UL standard. Three incidents of the lights overheating have also been reported. The recalled light sets were made in China. See the recall.
Old Navy recalls socks due to slip and fall hazard
About 37,800 Old Navy Toddler Girl Aqua Socks were recalled after two reports of customer falls due having less traction than expected when worn on wet or smooth surfaces. Both reports detailed only minor injuries. The recalled Old Navy socks were made in China. See the recall.

About 15,400 Children’s Folding Beach Chairs from Downeast Concepts were recalled after a report of a toddler who fell on exposed sharp, metal rivets in the chair, requiring stitches. The recalled folding chairs were made in China. See the recall.
Burlington Coat Factory recalls power strips due to fire hazard
About 6,000 Lush Life Power Strips were recalled by Burlington Coat Factory after discovery that undersized wiring could pose a risk of shock and does not satisfy fire resistance safety standards. Peg Perego recalls strollers due to entrapment and strangulation hazard
About 223,000 Pliko-P3 Stroller and Venezia Stroller by Peg Perego units were recalled after a 6-month-old died of strangulation after his head became trapped between the seat and the tray. A 7-month-old nearly strangled in the same fashion. The recalled strollers were manufactured in Italy. See the recall.
Kolcraft Enterprises issues recall for strollers due to fall and choking hazard
About 5,600 Contours Options LT Tandem Strollers were recalled after Kolcraft received six reports of the front wheels breaking, posing a falling hazard, and two reports of the basket’s screws and nuts detaching, posing a choking hazard. HealthCo recalls security lights due to shock hazard
About 7,800 Motion Security Lights were recalled by HealthCo after discovery that the internal wiring can be damaged during installation or while changing the bulb. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The recalled motion lights were manufactured in China. See the recall.
