Best Lighting Products recalls emergency exit signs due to failure to illuminate

About 450 LHQM LED Exit Signs with Emergency Lights were recalled by Best Lighting Products after receiving ten reports of signs malfunctioning after installation testing. The signs may not light up in a power failure. The signs were manufactured in China. See the recall.

Philips Lighting recalls lamps due to laceration hazard

About 1.86 million EnergySaver, Marathon, or Marathon Classic Compact Fluorescent Dimmable Reflector Lamps were recalled after 700 reports of lamps’ glue failing, causing the glass outer envelope to crash to the ground. Two reports of injuries and three reports of minor property damage have been documented. The recalled reflector lamps were made in Mexico and Poland. See the recall.

Umarex USA recalls air pistols due to unexpected firing

About 9,500 Browning Air Pistols were recalled after a report of the pistol discharging with the safety on. No injuries have been reported. The Browing Air Pistol was made in Turkey. See the recall.

Radio Flyer recalls riding toy due to falling hazard

About 165,000 Radio Flyer Scoot ‘n Zoom children’s riding toys were recalls after ten reports of the riding toy tipping over, causing the riders to fall forward. Six injuries were reported. Three injuries involved damage to teeth and the other three involved chin cuts requiring stitches. The Radio Flyer toy was manufactured in the United States. See the recall.

phil&teds USA recalls clip-on chair due to falling and amputation hazards

About 54,000 phil&teds USA “metoo” Clip-on Chairs were recalled after 19 reports of the chairs falling from different types of tables. Five injuries have been reported, including two reports of severe finger trauma, including amputation. The “metoo” Clip-on Chair was made in China. See the recall.

C.O. Lynch Enterprises recalls hiker boots due to risk of foot injury

About 5,200 Itasca Fusion Hiker Boots were recalled after discovery that the boots could fail to provide intended shock absorption from impact and compression. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The Itasca Fusion Hiker boots were manufactured in China. See the recall.

About 960,000 Martha Stewart Collection Enamel Cast Iron Casseroles were recalled after two reports of the enamel cracking and ejecting from the casseroles while in use. The Martha Stewart casseroles were made in China. See the recall.

About 34,425 Realspace PRO 3000 Series Desk Chairs were recalled after a report of an injury caused when his finger because pinched by the chair’s tilting mechanism. The Office Depot desk chair was made in China. See the recall.
