Testosterone supplements, including Androgel® and Axiron®, have been linked with adverse cardiac events, including heart attack, stroke, blood clots, and even death. Testosterone supplements are indicated solely for men suffering from a condition known as Low-T. However, against FDA regulations, testosterone supplement manufacturers have aggressively marketed their products as a cure-all against normal aging.

Research published in the Journal of the American Medical Association showed that men using testosterone supplements had a 29% increased risk of an adverse cardiac event. Men taking testosterone were 25.7% likely to have a heart attack, blood clot, or stroke within three years. Men not taking testosterone were only 19.9% likely. Further research suggests that men over the age of 65 and men under the age of 65 with previous heart disease are twice as likely to have a heart attack.

If you or a loved one has suffered a heart attack, stroke, or died while taking Androgel®, Axiron®, or any other testosterone supplement, contact The Law Offices of Larry H. Parker today at (800) 333-0000 for a free consultation. You may be entitled to compensation.
