A new study has made an interesting discovery. More United States drivers are killed in auto accidents on Tax Day than other comparable days. The Canadian study concludes that there is a 6% higher risk of being involved in a fatal auto accident as a driver, passenger, or pedestrian.

The data in the study aligns with the long-held assumption that stressed drivers are more dangerous on the road than non-stressed drivers. And no single day of the year is filled with more simultaneously stressed people than tax day.
