An accident in Ford City on Tuesday, January 22nd left a Chevy Suburban overturned and a building damaged, but both drivers were apparently uninjured.

Around 6:47 p.m. at the intersection of Harrison and Ash Street, the driver of the Suburban was driving eastbound and stopped at Harrison Street. She failed to see another vehicle, a Toyota Scion, traveling north on Ash Street, and proceeded into the intersection. The Suburban driver saw the Scion and attempted to avoid the accident, but was unable to do so. The Suburban was upended, causing property damage to a nearby building.

According to the California Highway Patrol, alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the accident.
