A staged collapse during a school performance in Anaheim on Saturday, March 8th, injured about two dozen high school students. Over 200 students were performing on the stage at the time of its collapse. Video of the incident can be seen on the L.A. Times website.

The stage collapsed happened during a performance by Rosary Catholic School at Servite High School in Anaheim. The mass of students on stage were jumping up and down during their performance when the front of the stage collapsed. Injuries ranged from minor bumps and bruises to broken bones. 24 injured students were taken to local hospitals and have since been released.

The incident was witnessed by several hundred students, parents, and other spectators. The cause of the stage collapse is currently under investigation, but early investigations suggest that weight was a factor in the incident.
