A one-car rollover accident on Highway 243 near Lake Fulmor in Pine Cove left the driver injured around 4:25PM on Tuesday, January 8th.
The CHP reports that Idyllwild resident Christine Cook, 31, was traveling southbound on Highway 243 when she lost control of her 2000 Toyota Camry after hitting loose gravel and over-correcting. Cook was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center for injuries to her back.
The accident closed Highway 243 down to one lane of traffic for more than an hour.
