Johnson and Johnson has been getting some rough press lately.

Johnson and Johnson has been getting some rough press lately. First, there was the issue of formaldehyde in their “no more tears” baby shampoo. Then there was the revelation that their failed DePuy ASR hip implants cost the company about $3 billion dollars. Now, there are reports that hip replacements that were rejected in the United States for safety issues were marketed oversees.

While not illegal, the practice of reselling rejected devices overseas (where approval requirements tend to be easier) highlights a disregard for patient safety. The DePuy ASR has had many problems throughout its lifespan. If you or a loved one has experienced pain or required a revision surgery after being fitted with a DePuy product, contact The Law Offices of Larry H. Parker today at (800) 333-0000.
