A serious accident on the 110 Freeway at Channel Street left two people injured on the morning of Thursday, January 24th when their vehicle exited the roadway and slid down an embankment. CHP is investigating the accident, trying to determine if the rain was indeed a factor in the crash.

Rain is expected off and on through Sunday. Driving conditions may be dangerous, so use extra caution on the roadways this weekend. Expect the freeways to be very slow.
