On June 5th, the recipients of the 15th Annual Larry H. Parker Scholar Incentive Awards were honored at our annual banquet. Recipients of the Larry H. Parker Scholar Award are chosen by college counselors at the various high schools that participate in the program. They are graduating seniors committed to attending college and maintain a minimum 3.00 grade point average.
Five scholarships are designated for the Community Build foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering inner-city youth and fostering economic development. The recipients for the five scholarships are chosen by the Community Build Program Director.
