A landslide closed Pacific Coast Highway near Pacific Palisades in the early morning of Thursday, March 21st. The landslide was reported just after 4 a.m. The northbound PCH was closed at Temescal Canyon Road.

Authorities believe the landslide occurred after a leaky garden hose loosened the soil on the hillside above PCH. The landslide was located just before a “Slide Area” caution sign.

Debris was being removed from the scene of the landslide around 6:15 a.m. Luckily, the landslide did not happen at a time when there were a lot of cars on the road.
