Cathedral City, CA (April 12, 2024) – Jason Jester (41) of Indio died in a rollover accident on Interstate 10 in Cathedral City, roughly a mile east of Palm Drive. According to Desert Sun, the incident happened just before 2:00 a.m. on Thursday.

The California Highway Patrol said the incident happened early Thursday, just before 2 a.m. on the eastbound side, about a mile east of Palm Drive.
Officer David Torres reported that Jason Jester was driving a Ford F-150 pickup in the No. 2 lane. Suddenly, he swerved right, hitting a 2008 Buick Enclave in the No. 3 lane.
Then, the Ford veered off onto the shoulder, struck a sign, and rolled over. Unfortunately, Jason Jester was ejected from the vehicle.
Paramedics from the fire department arrived in less than 15 minutes. Sadly, they pronounced Jason Jester dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the Buick’s driver, a 50-year-old woman from Arizona, remained unharmed.
As of now, Torres stated it’s unclear if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
