Garden Grove, CA (May 14, 2024) – Janet Carrillo (40) of Garden Grove died in a DUI accident in Garden Grove. Meanwhile, the authorities arrested Jadir Salazar Montano, 35, suspected of DUI. According to CBS, the crash happened at around 1:55 a.m. on Sunday.

Janet Carrillo, 40, of Garden Grove, identified as the victim in a DUI accident in Garden Grove after a driver slammed into a home.

Reportedly, the accident occurred around 1:55 a.m. in the 11800 block of Magnolia Street. The Garden Grove Police Department reports a  2019 Toyota Camry, driven by a man, crashed into the house.

Eventually, authorities named the victim as Janet Carrillo and identified the driver as 35-year-old Jadir Salazar Montano from Riverside.

After receiving multiple hit-and-run reports, officers arrived at the scene and were directed towards the fleeing suspect. Subsequently, Montano, who seemed to be under the influence, was arrested.

Further, the investigation revealed that Janet Carrillo was pinned by the car as it smashed into her home, leading to her immediate death at the scene.

Moreover, no additional information has been released.
