At Least 9 Dead After Scottish Helicopter Crashes Into Pub
A helicopter on a police operation went down in Glasgow, Scotland on Friday, November 29th, hitting a crowded pub. Three persons onboard the helicopter and at least six people on the ground were killed in the crash, which remains under investigation.
3 Killed, 4 Injured in Van Crash on 110 Freeway
A van containing seven people crashed and rolled over on the 110 North connector to the 5 Freeway on Saturday, November 30th. Three of the passengers died, identified as 19-year-old Abigail Romero of Lancaster, 37-year-old Abigail Estrella, and 12-year-old Katie Davila. Three of the four crash survivors were listed in critical condition after being transported to the hospital.
Commuter Train Derails in the Bronx, Killing 4
Four people were killed and 63 people were injured after New York’s Metro-North Railroad experienced a train derailment on Sunday, December 1st, the first fatalities ever on this railway. The train accident may have occurred due to the remains of crushed fall foliage, leaving the train tracks slippery.

Actor Paul Walker Killed in Fiery Car Crash
Actor Paul Walker, known for his role in the Fast and the Furious movie franchise, was killed in a car crash on Sunday, December 1st. He was the passenger in a Porsche that crashed into a lamp post and tree before exploding. The driver, Roger Rodas, also died in the crash.
