In what is being described as a freak accident, a 7-year-old girl was killed at an auto show in Santa Fe Springs on Sunday, September 22nd. It is still unclear exactly how the accident unfolded.

Family members identified the girl as 7-year-old Mia Chapman. The auto show was being held inside a warehouse in Santa Fe Springs, located in the 10200 block of Freeman Avenue. Family and attendees have heard different stories as to how the accident unfolded. Chapman may have been struck by a car, but may also have been struck by pallets of water that tipped over after being struck by a car.

The incident is still under investigation.
