According to the California Highway Patrol, the number of accidents on Los Angeles freeways, between midnight and 10 a.m., increased from 50 last Friday morning to 239 today. That’s an 478% increase of accidents, primarily due to the rain. That’s a lot.

More rain is expected throughout the day and evening, including possible thunderstorms. Rain is also likely early next week. Be sure to look for our previous post about driving safely in wet weather.
