A four car crash on Interstate 405 South caused two vehicles to erupt in flames, killing one and injuring four in Westminster early Sunday, April 12th. The crash occurred around 4:43 a.m. between Beach Boulevard and Magnolia Street.

The cause of the crash was unknown. The four vehicles involved were described as a Dodge van, a Ford Mustang, a Hyundai Sonata, and a GMC Sierra. The deceased victim was a female passenger in the Dodge Van who became trapped after the vehicle caught fire.
