Wright County Egg, the company involved with the recent salmonella tainted egg recall, has apparently tested positive for salmonella hundreds of times over the previous two years. Congressional inquiries have uncovered records showing 426 positive test results for salmonella contamination since 2008. 73 of these results were positive for Salmonella Enteritidis, the current strain of salmonella that has sickened thousands of people.
