A two-vehicle crash on the 57 Freeway transition to the 22 Freeway left one dead and one seriously injured after their vehicle was rear-ended and overturned early Saturday, March 14th. The deceased victim has been identified as Eric Phan, 34, of Midway City.

The crash occurred around 1:45 a.m. According to authorities, a 2014 BMW 320i driven by Rebecca Munoz, 22, of Santa Ana, rear ended a 2002 Jeep Liberty driven by Neil Raboy, 36, of Huntington Beach. The collision caused the Liberty to jump a cement barrier and fall off the overpass. The vehicle came to rest on its roof. Phan was a passenger in the Liberty.
