A pickup truck and a described “monster truck” collided on the 91 Freeway in Riverside, causing the pickup to rollover and eject its driver on the afternoon of Sunday, October 4th. The ejected driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The crash occurred on the 91 East near Adams Street at 12:52 p.m.

Authorities were uncertain what caused the initial collision. As a result of that collision, the pickup truck overturned on the right shoulder. The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured in the crash. The crash closed several lanes of the east 91 for just over two hours.
