Car Accident in Sonoma County: One Fatal, Four Injured

A car accident in Sonoma County involving multiple vehicles killed one person and injured four others.

The California Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred on the northbound and southbound lanes of Lakeville Highway, just south of Old Lakeville Road No. 3.

Reportedly, a northbound Toyota Camry’s driver didn’t slow down in time and couldn’t stop. However, the reason for this failure is still unclear.

Meanwhile, in an attempt to dodge the traffic ahead, the driver veered left, hit the back of a Nissan Versa, flipped over into the oncoming lane, and then smashed into a Chevy Silverado.

Subsequently, the Nissan Versa crashed into a Ford Fusion.

Unfortunately, the 22-year-old man from Rohnert Park, who drove the Toyota, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Additionally, the Nissan Versa’s driver and three passengers suffered minor injuries and were transported to Petaluma Valley Hospital. Aside from that, there were no reports of other injuries.

At present, the CHP Santa Rosa office is urging anyone with information about this car accident in Sonoma County to get in touch at 707-806-5600.

What Is a Wrongful Death Claim?
