  • Pedro Hernandez Ojeda, 35
  • Roberto Banuelos Flores, 57
  • Hector Manuel Orozco Ordonez, 34, of Jalisco, Mexico
  • Juvenal Jacobo Talavera, 24, of Michoacan, Mexico
  • Alfredo Sanchez Morales, 30, of Guerrero, Mexico
  • Victor Hernandez Cirilo, 30, of Guerrero, Mexico, and 
  • truck driver Robert Jerry Kovar, 78, of Auberry.

At present, efforts to notify the victims’ families are ongoing. 

Meanwhile, Benito Perez, 33, the surviving farmworker, grieves deeply for his lost friends and reflects on their shared moments. Currently, Perez is recovering at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.

On the other hand, families and friends, with the support of advocacy groups and the Mexican Consulate, are working to send the victims back to Mexico. 

Furthermore, the Kerman community is organizing a vigil and fundraisers to show support.
