According to investigators, a southbound GMC Yukon lost control in rainy conditions on Highway 41.

Then, the driver attempted to recover but over-steered, sending the Yukon sideways into oncoming traffic.

Subsequently, a northbound Chevy Silverado collided with the GMC’s right side.

Following this, a southbound Buick was unable to dodge the accident, hitting the Silverado.

Tragically, the crash claimed the life of an 11-year-old girl from the Yukon.

Additionally, two Yukon passengers sustained moderate injuries. Another two received severe injuries, necessitating hospitalization.
