Bryant Fields, 38, of Fresno, died after a vehicle struck him in a hit-and-run in southeast Fresno.

The police said the accident happened just after midnight at Chestnut and Clinton avenues.

Allegedly, the suspect vehicle, heading south on Chestnut, hit Bryant Fields who was in the southbound lanes, just south of Clinton.

However, after the collision, the car continued its southbound course on Chestnut. 

Then, it turned around at Cambridge Avenue, proceeded north past the accident scene, and then turned east on Clinton.

Sadly, the authorities declared Bryant Fields dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, surveillance video captured the suspect vehicle, described as a white four-door sedan, which remains at large.
