Alicia M. Ramos, 43, and two boys, aged 13 and 11, died in a car accident on the 15 Freeway in San Bernardino County.

Initially, the accident occurred when a vehicle hydroplaned on the wet pavement, leading to a head-on crash with another vehicle on the freeway, northeast of Baker.

Moreover, the California Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Kia with six occupants was southbound on the freeway. Amidst heavy rain, it hydroplaned near Halloran Springs Road.

Consequently, the Kia swerved from the southbound lanes, across the median, and into oncoming northbound traffic. Then, it hit a 2016 Mercedes SUV that was carrying four passengers.

Unfortunately, among the victims were Alicia M. Ramos and a 13-year-old boy, both passengers from Madera inside the Kia, and an 11-year-old boy from Los Angeles in the Mercedes.

The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office confirmed the identity of Alicia M. Ramos. However, the names of the boys have not been released yet.

In addition, seven other individuals involved were hospitalized following the accident.
