A crash east of Lake Elsinore on the evening of Tuesday, November 19th sent six people to the hospital, two with serious injuries. The collision occurred at the intersection of Carroll Street and Nance Street in Mead Valley.

According to authorities, a PT Cruiser and minivan collided, causing the PT Cruiser to roll into a ditch, trapping the people in the vehicle. Over 10 firefighters responded to the scene to free the people. Six people involved in the crash were taken to Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley. Two victims had serious injuries, another moderate, and three had minor injuries. Which victim was in which vehicle was not reported.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
