Three drivers were injured after a flatbed truck changed lanes and struck a big rig, which struck another car on the 210 Freeway in Pasadena on the afternoon of Monday, August 11th. The crash occurred around 2:38 p.m. near Rosemead Boulevard. The west 210 experienced lane closures for hours.

The collision occurred when the flatbed made an unsafe lane change, striking a big rig. The big rig struck the third vehicle, a Mazda, and crashed into the center divider. The crash was very high impact, throwing debris onto nearby train tracks and knocking down power lines. The big rig spilled about 50 gallons of fuel onto the freeway, requiring the closing of lanes for cleanup.

The drivers of all three vehicles were taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. All lanes reopened around 7:30 p.m.
