Police are still searching for a man who left the scene of a three-car crash in Irvine that left one woman dead and four others, including two children, injured late Wednesday, June 10th. The crash occurred around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Alton Parkway and Muirlands Boulevard.

Not much is known about what caused the crash. Three vehicles were involved: a black Ford Mustang, a Chevy Cruze, and a Honda Civic. The driver of the Cruze did not survive the crash. The Cruze had three passengers, including two children, ages 3 and6, who were in cardiac arrest at the scene. All three passengers were taken to local hospitals and were listed in serious condition. The driver of the Civic was treated at a local hospital and released.

The male driver of the Mustang fled the scene, leading to a large manhunt involving bloodhounds and helicopters. Several streets around the scene of the crash were closed for the manhunt, investigation, and cleanup. The incident remains under investigation.
