A wrong-way driver on Interstate 210 in Monrovia caused a three-car crash early Monday, June 16th. The driver is suspected to have been under the influence. At least two people suffered minor injuries, including the wrong-way driver.

The wrong-way collision occurred just after 1:00 a.m. A 28-year-old man from Long Beach was driving eastbound on the westbound 210 when his vehicle slammed into a westbound sedan. The sedan was subsequently rear-ended by another vehicle driving westbound on the freeway.

The suspected drunk driver and the driver of one of the other vehicles were taken to local hospitals for evaluations. The wrong-way driver was arrested after the crash.
