According to the California Highway Patrol, a Honda Accord driver, heading east in the westbound lanes of Interstate 580 west of Corral Hollow Road, collided with a Kia Telluride. Consequently, both cars overturned.

Unfortunately, the 18-year-old driver from Antioch was thrown from the Accord and died on the spot. Meanwhile, the 32-year-old woman driving the Kia from Fort Bragg succumbed to her injuries at San Joaquin General Hospital. 

As of now, the authorities are withholding their identities until they notify their families.

Additionally, two Kia passengers, a 35-year-old and a 2-month-old girl, are battling serious injuries in the hospital. Moreover, a 4-year-old boy, also in the Kia, received minor injuries and was hospitalized.
