Arctic Cat issues recall for ATVs due to crashing hazard

About 40,000 2008 and 2009 Arctic Cat Single-Rider and 2 UP Style ATVs were recalled after the company received 44 reports of the components in the front gear case failing. 10 of these incidents resulted in the ATV stopping unexpectedly or the loss of control. Four injuries were reported, including broken ribs, knee injuries, and back injuries. The recalled ATVs were made in the United States. See the recall.
