American Signature recalls lamps due to fire and shocking hazards

About 730 26-Inch Table Lamps were recalled by American Signature after the company received three reports of the power dial switch on the lamp caused a short in the product, triggering the circuit breaker. The recalled lamps were manufactured in China. See the recall.

Nokia issues recall for tablet chargers due to electrocution hazard

About 500 Travel Charger Kits for the Nokia Lumia 2520 Tablet were recalled after Nokia discovered that the plastic cover on the exchangeable plugs could separate and expose internal components, posing a risk of electrocution. Brooks Furniture issues recall for rockers due to falling hazard

About 350 Brooks Furniture Glider Rockers were recalled after the company received 29 reports of the chairs’ spindles loosening or separating from the base of the product. The recalled rocking chairs were made in the United States. See the recall.

Linear expands recall of personal emergency systems due to battery signal failure

About 100,600 Trane XB300 and American Standard Silver SI Air Conditioning Systems were recalled after the company discovered the the ground screws due not provide sufficient grounding, posing a risk of electrical shock. Coravin recalls wine access systems due to laceration hazard

About 65,000 Coravin 1000 Wine Access Systems were recalled after the company received 13 reports of wine bottles cracking or breaking while the product was in use. Scott, Trek issues recall for bicycle forks due to crashing hazard

About 125,200 SR Suntour Forks were recalled after Scott received a report of a broken fork and Trek received 28 reports of broken forks. Trek also received reports of five injuries, including broken bones and a separated shoulder. The bicycle forks are equipped on about 5,200 Scott bicycles and about 120,000 Trek bicycles. About 324 Julie Vos Women’s Scarves were recalled after the company received a report of a scarf catching fire. The recalled scarves were manufactured in India. See the recall.

Wolf Steele recalls gas fireplaces due to laceration hazard

About 3,000 Napoleon GD3200-P and GD3200B-P Propane Gas Fireplaces were recalled by Wolf Steele after they received a report of glass on the product shattering, resulting in lacerations to the face and neck requiring medical attention. Roland issues recall for pianos due to shocking hazard

About 640 RD-800 Electronic Digital Pianos were recalled by Roland after they received a report of a consumer plugging an AC power cord into the XLR ouput jacks, which poses a risk of electric shock. The recalled pianos were made in Japan and Indonesia. See the recall.
