Cabrinha issues recall for kiteboarding systems due to injury hazard

About 1,700 Cabrinha Kiteboarding 1X and Overdrive 1X Control Systems were recalled after the company received two reports of the RecoilTM spring on the control mechanism jamming, which can lead to loss of control and a risk of injury. Coleman issues recall for rubber river tubes due to skin irritation hazard

About 20,500 Sevylor River Racer Inflatable Rubber Tubes were recalled after Coleman received 24 reports of consumers experiencing skin irritation after using the product. The recalled inner tubes were manufactured in China. See the recall.

Benetton recalls boys jackets due to entanglement hazard

About 93 Boy’s Hooded Jacket with Waist Drawstring were recalled after discovery that the product fails to meet CPSC guidelines for drawstrings in children’s upper outerwear. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The recalled jackets were manufactured in China. See the recall.

American Honda issues recall for generators due to impact hazard and manual error

About 8,100 2014 Honda Gasoline-Powered 7,000 Watt Generators were recalled by Honda after receiving two reports of the rear frame support of the product failed. There have also been two reports of owner’s manuals containing errors. The recalled generators were manufactured in India. See the recall.

About 1.3 million Kidde Hard-Wired Smoke and Combination Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Alarms were recalled after discovery that the alarms could fail to sound in the result of a fire or carbon monoxide event after a power outage. Arctic Cat issues recall for utility vehicles due to fire hazard

About 5,600 2014 Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail and Wildcat Trail XT Side-by-side Utility Vehicles were recalled after the company received 60 reports of oil leaks, resulting in one incident of fire. The recalled vehicles were made in the United States. See the recall.

IKEA issues recall for swings due to falling hazard

About 2,300 IKEA GUNGGUNG Swings were recalled after the company received four reports of the suspension fittings breaking while the product was in use. One of the incidents include a report of a child falling and suffering a fractured leg. The recalled children’s swing sets were made in Vietnam. See the recall.
