About 20,000 Freestanding Steel Outdoor Fireplaces have been recalled by Sunjoy Industries after 14 reports of the decorative finish catching fire. One of these reports included minor property damage. This product was made in China. See the recall.

About 2,500 Sanus Elements Surge Protectors were recalled after discovering that the product in question had improper grounding of the case and inadequate insulation for the circuit breaker. This Milestone AV Technologies product was manufactured in China. See the recall.

Baja Motorsports recalls dirt bikes due to fire and burning hazards

About 4,300 Baja Motorsports Dirt Bikes were recalled after receiving six reports of fuel leaking from the fuel tank and catching fire. There has been one report of this leaked fuel causing minor burns to one user’s legs. The Baja Motorsports dirt bike was made in China. See the recall.

About 1,800 Little Pet Vet and Dr. Littles Halloween costumes have been recalled by Fun World due to a choking hazard posed by the toy stethoscopes included with the costumes. The recall is limited to the stethoscopes. No incidents have been reported. These costumes were made in China. See the recall.

Sunbeam Products recalls wine openers due to laceration hazard

About 159,000 wine bottle openers from Sunbeam Products have been recalled after 52 reports of wine bottles breaking while using the opener. 22 injuries have been reported, including lacerations to the hands. The wine openers were manufactured in China. See the recall.

Sunsations recalls sweatshirts due to strangulation hazard

About 3,600 Sunsations children’s hooded sweatshirts with drawstrings have been recalled due to the drawstrings through the hood, which do not meet CPSC issued guidelines and industry voluntary standard to prevent strangulation of children. No incidents have been reported. The sweatshirt were made in Pakistan. See the recall.

Southern Enterprises recalls fireplaces due to fire and fall hazards

About 6,000 Colin Cowie Gel-Fuel Wood Fireplaces by Southern Enterprises have been recalled after 21 reports of the fireplace detaching from the wall and falling, causing heat or fire damage. Two injuries have also been reported after the fireplace fell on the two victims. Thie Colin Cowie Gel-Fuel Wood Fireplace was manufactured in China. See the recall.

About 1,400 Kid O Products wooden fruit puzzles have been recalled after discovery that the knobs attached to the puzzle pieces can come loose. No incidents have been reported. The puzzles were made in China. See the recall.

Procycle recalls mountain bikes due to fall injury hazard

About 325 Rocky Mountain Bicycles from Procycle Group have been recalled after receiving four reports of the front fork steering tube breaking. These four reports included injuries ranging from cuts and scrapes to a broken wrist. The Rocky Mountain Bicycle is made in Canada. See the recall.

Atico International USA recalls slippers due to choking hazard

About 57,000 Atico International USA Holiday Rattle Baby Slippers have been recalled after three reports of babies removing the stuffing from the slippers. One of these incidents involved a 7-month old baby putting the stuffing in it’s mouth and turning blue. This product was manufactured in China.
