MTD recalls edger attachments due to laceration hazard

About 14,500 TrimmerPlus Edger Attachments were recalled after discovery that the steel shaft that drives the edger blade can break, causing a risk of the blade to detach. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The TrimmerPlus Edger Attachments were made in Mexico. See the recall.

Christmas Tree Shops recalls lamps due to fire and shock hazards

About 35,000 Animated Safari and Aquarium Lamps were recalled after three reports of defective wiring causing electrical shorts resulting in sparks. The lamps were manufactured in China. See the recall.

Napa Home and Garden recalls gel fuel due to fire and burn hazards

About 460,000 units of Pourable NAPAfire and FIREGEL Gel Fuel bottles and jugs were recalled after 37 reports of the gel fuel unexpectedly igniting. When poured in to a burning firepot, the ignited gel can sometimes splatter on to nearby persons and objects. 23 incidents of burn injuries have been recorded. See the recall.

Britax recalls strollers due to brake failure hazard

About 20,800 Britax B-Nimble Strollers were recalled after seven reports of the stroller brake not being fully engaged after hearing an audible click when the brake pedal is depressed. The B-Nimble Strollers were made in China. See the recall.

Target recalls sandals due to choking hazard

About 51,700 Circo Aloma Infant Girls Sandals were recalled after eight reports of the decorative flowers on the sandals detaching were received. The girls sandals were manufactured in China. See the recall.
