Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft issues recall for craft kits due to injury hazard

About 1,800 Foam Pumpkin Turkey Craft Kits were recalled by Jo-Ann Stores after discovery that the magnets holding the pumpkin shell pieces together can loosen and be swallowed by children. If more than one magnet is swallowed, there is a risk of the magnets clamping together internally, posing an injury hazard. No incidents or injuries have been reported. Harbor Freight Tools recalls drills due to fire and burning hazards

About 108,000 Cordless Drills were recalled by Harbor Freight Tools after they received a report of a drill overheating and burning through the handle. A minor injury was reported in that incident. The recalled cordless drills were manufactured in China. See the recall.

About 2,631 Toro Z Master Riding Mowers were recalled after Toro received five reports of the traction drive belt wearing through the fuel tank, resulting in a fuel leak. The recalled Toro Z Master Riding Mowers were made in the United States. See the recall.

About 15,500 Children’s Riding Toys were recalled by The Step2 Company after receiving four reports of the seat going over the handle bar after children leaned too far forward. G-U Hardware recalls window fittings due to injury hazard

About 5,000 Window Fittings: Tilt-turn Stay Arms and Side-Hung Sash Hinges were recalled after G-U Hardware received two reports of the window fittings breaking, causing the window to fall. About 23,400 trampolines were recalled by Sportspower after they received a report of the trampoline leg separating from the frame while in use, causing the loose leg to puncture the jumping surface. The recalled trampolines were made in China. See the recall.

About 1,250 Jotul and Scan Gas Fireplace Inserts were recalled after Jotul North America received a report of a unit’s electrical wiring coming into contact with the metal rating plate of the insert.
