Staples recalls chairs due to falling hazard

About 3,350 Bermond Fabric Manager’s Chairs were recalled by Staples after the company received 41 reports of the base of the chair breaking. Three of these reports included incidents of occupants falling to the ground resulting in one minor injury. The recalled chairs were made in China. See the recall.

Sears re-announces recall for dehumidifiers due to fire and burning hazards

About 795,000 previously recalled Kenmore Dehumidifiers were recalled again due to a low response rate from consumers. Sears received an additional seven reports of fires occurring from a fault in the product. Three of these fires resulted in extensive property damage, and one report included a severe burn injury.
