A 30-something year-old man was killed on the westbound 60 Freeway on the morning of Thursday, January 17th, when he rear-ended a big rig truck and was then rear-ended by another big rig. The accident occurred around 2:50 AM near Garfield Ave. in Montebello. The cause of the accident was unknown at the time of this writing.
Much of the Pomona freeway was closed until about 7:30 AM, causing traffic backups in the area.
