A motorcyclist was killed in an accident on the morning of Tuesday, June 11th. The motorcyclist collided with a car in Centerville, east of Fresno.

A motorcyclist was killed in an accident on the morning of Tuesday, June 11th. The motorcyclist collided with a car in Centerville, east of Fresno, just before 6:00 a.m.

According to authorities, the crash occurred when a 1999 Chevrolet automobile was driving west on Kings Canyon Road, preparing to turn left (south) on Oliver Avenue. The motorcyclist was traveling east, following a truck that was also turning left (north) on Oliver Avenue. The driver of the Chevy may not have seen the motorcycle behind the truck. When the driver did, he stopped his vehicle in the eastbound lane of Kings Canyon Road. The motorcycle then collided with the Chevy.

The motorcyclist was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, but died from his injuries.
