The hepatitis A outbreak associated with Townsend Farms Organic Antioxidant Blend of frozen berries and pomegranate seeds has expanded to seven states and affected 15 more people. The states affected by this recall are California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, and Hawaii. 8 more infected patients have reported eating the recalled product.

The CDC and FDA are currently investigating whether or not the tainted pomegranate seeds were sold in other products or in other stores.
