A drunk driver is in critical condition after causing a four-vehicle crash near Casino del Sol in Tucson on the evening of Sunday, January 27th. The drunk driver was driving eastbound on Valencia Rd. when he hit another vehicle traveling in the same direction. After that collision, he skidded out and struck another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction before hitting a fourth car head on. The fourth car had six occupants.
The driver was taken to University of Arizona Medical Center with catastrophic injuries. A 72-year-old woman was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but was in stable condition. Four other victims were treated for minor injuries.
