About 975 ValcoBaby Joey Booster Toddler Seats for Strollers were recalled after the company received two reports of children falling from the seat after a spring button securing the seat unexpectedly disengaged. The recalled booster seats were made in China. See the recall.

Summit Treestands issues recall for hunters’ tree stand due to falling hazard

About 2,900 Crush Series: Perch, Stoop and Ledge Treestands for Hunters were recalled after discovery that the strap assembly could come loose from the tree stand, posing a risk for falls. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The recalled hunters’ tree stands were manufactured in China. See the recall.

JELD-WEN issues recall for doors due to impact hazard

About 170,800 JELD-WEN and Reliabilt Interior Bifold Doors were recalled after twelve reports of pivot pins breaking, causing the bifold door do fall off the overhead track. Three minor injuries have been reported from falling doors. The recalled doors were made in the United States. See the recall.

Dorel Juvenile Group recalls bassinets due to suffocation hazard

About 97,000 Eddie Bauer Rocking Wood Bassinets were recalled after Dorel received 17 reports of the bottom locking mechanism failing to lock properly, causing the bassinet to tip to the side and the infant to roll to the side as well. Two incidents of infants having difficulty breathing after rolling to the side of their bassinets have been reported. The recalled bassinets were manufactured in China. See the recall.

Rivers Edge issues recall for hunters’ tree stands due to falling hazard

About 14,000 Tree Stands for Hunters were recalled by Rivers Edge Tree Stands after they received three reports of the snap-hook assemblies failing, causing the tree stand to tumble to the ground with its occupant. Injuries including bumps and bruises, a broken toe, and a lacerated hand have been reported. The Rivers Edge tree stands were made in China. See the recall.

HatsanUSA issues recall for air rifles due to injury hazard

About 2,400 Hatsan Striker Air Rifles were recalled after Hatsan received a report of an air rifle firing unexpectedly after cocking the rifle. The recalled Hatsan Strike Air Rifles were made in Turkey. See the recall.

Tricam Industries recalls step stools due to falling hazard

About 84,000 Tricam Easy Reach Step Stools were recalled after Tricam received five reports of the standing platform breaking while in use. There has been one report of minor injuries to a falling consumer. The recalled step stools were manufactured in China. See the recall.
