A six-vehicle crash on the southbound 405 in Van Nuys injured 11 and closed the freeway on the morning of Wednesday, December 4th. The crash occurred around 9:30 a.m. and involved a big rig, a food truck, and four cars.

One person was sent to the hospital with serious injuries. Six other people were taken to the hospital with more moderate injuries. The remaining four injured victims were treated at the scene.

At last report, the cause of the collision was still under investigation.
